The below started out as a bit of an experiment into watercolour i wouldn't say a brilliant experiment but it sort of worked. i decided to use it for the exercise in cropping as it was what i was working on at the time.

mother - the close cropping of this image reminds me very much of a mothersday card or a table cloth, i think maybe i should have cropped it futher to remove the one remaining stalk. i think it gives it a more of a softer feel then the other images. It also has more of a limited pallete of pinks and purples (ignoring the stem) i would probably take out the one paint splat aswell as it doesn't seem to fit. square format

grace - bigger blooms this time and a couple of paint splats going from hot to cool mostly. this one only has partial view of the foliage which to me looks a bit odd i dont know if thats because of the whitespace. portrait format

Summer - i like this the most i think i would crop out the pink flowers completly and only use the warmer ones or maybe replace them with warmer tones. allthough maybe the contrast is what helps.
Hmm i just reread the exercise and i think i might have initially missunderstood. which means i think i have to start over :(.
